Office hours allow student interaction with faculty and deeper understanding of course material. These interactions can lead to increases in retention and student GPAs. However, some students can’t/won’t visit office hours. Action Centers (http://uc.ou.edu/action) help solve this issue. Our digital native students are responding positively to ONLINE Action Centers offered by Dr. Heather Ketchum for Human Physiology (BIOL2124) using the Adobe Connect platform. We'll demonstrate in our session.
