Research Data Management Plans: An Update
Limited Capacity seats available

Abstract As more research data is created digitally, funding agencies (including the NSF and NIH) have begun requiring researchers to preserve and share their data so that it can be used by others. Many funding agencies now require researchers to submit a Data Management Plan (DMP) with their grant proposals. This talk will review the services currently being offered by the OU Libraries and highlight several new tools being made available to the OU Academic community for this purpose.

Finding a Parking Spot at OU: How and where to park your research data.
Limited Capacity seats available

Like parking your car on campus, finding a place for research data can at times be challenging. And like parking, data has a need for short-term, medium-term and long-term parking. The community is aware of the plans the university is taking to add additional storage, but they may not be aware of what is available concerning managing data and data sets. Currently, the OU Libraries are prototyping several web-based data management systems for the storage and distribution of data and data sets.
